Dear Friends,

The National Spiritual Assembly of Bahá’ís of France meeting on the 30th of April and the 1st of May 1960 to consider the Proclamation of Mason Remey which was received on the 25th of April, 1960, have recognized Mason Remey as the Second Guardian of the Bahá’í Faith.

We recommend that you consider, after prayers and reflection, the content of this fundamental Proclamation which is a reflection of the wishes expressed by Shoghi Effendi.

Given the importance of this Proclamation, the National Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá’ís of France recommends the most great firmness vis-a-vis the other members of your community in order to obey and collaborate with our Second Guardian.
