Dearly beloved Friends,

We are sending you this communication which has come, as customary, by way of telegram, from the Hands of the Cause residing in Haifa.

We have endeavoured to be mindful of the chronological order with which the reception of this news was received, as such, by the National Spiritual Assembly and which has, at the same time, been delivered to the members of the Assembly.

In this way, we have respected, in fact, the order of messages received and transmitted.

In our estimation, we felt that it would not only be just but honest that you should receive, at the same time, the Proclamation of the second Guardian and the telegram from the Hands in the Holy Land, which no member of the National Spiritual Assembly had, at the same time, received the communication of these two messages.

PROFOUNDLY REGRET TO INFORM THE BAHÁ’Í WORLD OF HAND OF THE CAUSE MASON REMEY’S CLAIM THAT HE IS THE GUARDIAN OF THE FAITH (stop) THIS UNREASONABLE CLAIM CLEARLY CONTRAVENES THE SACRED HOLY TEXTS. CAN ONLY BE VIEWED HAVE THE MENTAL OBVIOUSNESS OF AN ABERRATION (stop) CALL UPON THE BELIEVERS EVERYWHERE TO JOIN WITH THE HANDS IN THE HOLY LAND TO REPUDIATE THIS WAYWARD ACT (stop) SHARE THIS MESSAGE WITH THE FRIENDS.
