AS IT IS WRITTEN SO SHALL IT BE!
"this most great Order"
" Well is it with him is His [ the Bábs ] prophetic announcement, who fixeth his gaze upon the Order of Baháulláh "
" God hath indeed irrevocably ordained it in the Bayán."
"It is with that self-same Order that the Founder of the promised Revelation, [ Baháulláh ] twenty years later incorporating that same term in the Kitáb-i-Aqdas identified the System envisaged in that Book, affirming that this most great Order had deranged the worlds equilibrium and revolutionized mankinds ordered life."
"It is the features of that self-same Order. . . the Center of Baháulláhs Covenant. . . delineated through the provisions of His Will and Testament."
"It is the structural basis of that self-same Order which . . .the stewards of that same Covenant, the elected representatives of the world-wide Baháí community, are now laboriously and unitedly establishing."
"It is the superstructure of that self-same Order, attaining its full stature through the emergence of the Baháí World Commonwealth the Kingdom of God on earth which the Golden Age of that same Dispensation must, in the fullness of time, ultimately witness."
The above quotations are extracted from a single paragraph found on pages 25-26 of God Passes By in which Shoghi Effendi emphasizes that the Bábs statement in the third Vahid of the Bayán "in its anticipation of the Order which, in a later age, was to be identified with His [ Baháulláhs ] Revelation, deserves to rank as one of the most significant statements recorded in any of the Bábs writings."
Incredulously, in spite of the fact that the Báb revealed that "God hath indeed irrevocably ordained" the "Order of Baháulláh," that, moreover, Baháulláh had envisaged this Order in His Most Holy Book and that Abdul-Bahá had, as well, delineated its features in His Will and Testament, the former Hands of the Cause, upon the passing of Shoghi Effendi in 1957, ignominiously ignored the above statements by the three Central Figures of our Faith and in an incomprehensible loss of Faith in the Covenant of Baháulláh, hastily came to the patently false conclusion that Shoghi Effendi had been unable to appoint a successor and that the Guardianship of the Faith had come to an untimely end on the basis of a preposterous claim, which certainly was not theirs to make, that God had changed His mind about the establishment of "this most great Order." Then, moreover, proceeding to shamelessly ignore the fact that Shoghi Effendi had already proclaimed in 1951 his formation of the embryonic Universal House of Justice and had further confirmed the significance of this "historic" decision as his ministry drew to a close, in declaring that, "at long last the machinery of its highest institutions," had been erected and "the supreme organs of its unfolding Order" were "in their embryonic form unfolding," they substituted an organization of their own making, sans-Guardian, sans-Hands of the Cause (with the demise of the last Hand) and with the Faith headed by an illicitly formed headless Universal House of Justice (to be elected in 1963) in place of the "twin pillars" called for and delineated by the Center of the Covenant in His divinely-conceived, sacred and immutable Will and Testament.
They further tragically ignored and ingloriously repudiated the concluding passages written by Shoghi Effendi in this same paragraph in which he so wonderfully described the results that were destined to ultimately crown the efforts of the "stewards" of the Covenant as they labored " unitedly" to establish "the structural basis of that self-same Order" and which would "in the fullness of time" witness in the Golden Age of the Dispensation of Baháulláh "the superstructure of that self-same Order, attaining its full stature through the emergence of the Baháí World Commonwealth the Kingdom of God on earth."
Notwithstanding the evident corrupted Baháí Administrative Order that has been foisted upon the Baháí world, first by the erstwhile Hands of the Cause and subsequently by the illegitimate so-called Universal House of Justice, and blindly embraced by the vast majority of the believers throughout the world, the Covenant of Baháulláh inevitably dooms this spurious organization to ultimate extinction, for AS IT IS WRITTEN SO SHALL IT BE.
